For curbside bulky-item pickup, check with the City of Fitchburg’s public works department directly, since each community sets its own rules.
Start with the medicine cabinet and the garage shelves
Medications and chemicals are the items that need a specific destination, so it helps to deal with them early. Old prescriptions can go in the free MedDrop box at the Fitchburg Police Department, 5520 Lacy Rd. It doesn’t take needles or sharps.
